I present to you - Pteropus!
Ok, so I left out most of the neck and the poor thing is more of a flying mole than a flying fox and probably would be at home as a monster on one of those old Dr Who episodes, but, but... it's the Christmas Spirit!
So, basically,
recently posted her Christmas wishlist and one of the items on it was the following:
I want YOU to draw something. For yourself. The thing is... don't really try to be correct. Have fun with medium, for me, for yourself! Make most wonky, silly and incorrect as much as you can... and enjoy it! I'd love to see if someone will decide to try :D Close one eye and open your mind.
Now, I'm not much of a visual artist, but I was kind of inspired by this and decided to sit down and actually do it tonight. On a recent livestream,
had spent some time talking about fruit bat wing anatomy and the way the different wing digits move. It made me want to try drawing a bat myself with the knowledge I learned, so here it is! Sadly, this was my second attempt of the night and came out much better than the first one. : D
