This is actually the character that kinda peeked my interest towards the furries (didn't realize that at the time, but had some interesting thoughts nonetheless)

He is Pessi, a troll from Johanna Sinisalo's book Ennen päivänlaskua ei voi (Not before Sundown). The book tells a story about a man, Mikael who one night finds an young and wounded/sick creature and brings it home. Then he starts to treat the troll and gradually he is getting better, and Mikael starts to realize how wise and dangerous piece of wild nature he really is. The troll also has pheromones that make gay men horny.. Epic powers, huh?

Yup, ever since I first read that book I have been pretty much fascinated by this creature. I just LOVE the way they describe him in the book. If you ever get the change, do read this book, it is awesome.

Pessi was pictured to have pretty monkey-like features with a short and more humane muzzle than cats and dogs for example, but also he had some feline like aspects in him. I also had inspiration from the movie How to train your dragon and Toothless when I started to make this piece.

I really like the facial expression on this, it's maybe the best part about this piece. This doesn't feel like it's completely finished yet, the shading, once again, looks like sheit at places.. And that mane..... Gosh my eyes bleed just thinking about it. But, this has been laying around on my to do list for so long already that I don't think I will be getting this more finished any time soon, so I'll just post it as it is...
And now that I think about it.... Why did I even insist on doing that damn mane? Fuck I'm stupid *facepaws*
