Hane-tokage are a creature I came up with a while ago, kind of like feathered dragons in the draco family but have feathers not scales and are incapable of fire. Their feathers would change drastically in the seasons and would reflect the season.
Spring - In spring the feathers become a bright display females having a more subdued shade. The males would serenade the females as they fly around them often up to 20 Hane-tokages at a time making a beautiful displays which locals would often seek out to view.
