Hane-tokage are a creature I came up with a while ago, kind of like feathered dragons in the draco family but have feathers not scales and are incapable of fire. Their feathers would change drastically in the seasons and would reflect the season.

Autumn - In Autumn its feathers change to suit the leaves and they become bright and fire like causing them to sometimes be associated with the Phoenix. At this point the Hatchlings of summer will be fully fledged and will be aiding in hunting and food gathering for the whole flock as they begin to prepare for the winter.
