P.S. The Pokémon comic has people using TMs and stuff during matches, I'm sure "Actually a guy in a costume" is a legal move. Possibly a disadvantage, depending on whether or not the wearer gets real powers.

TL;DR:
The costume is only the catalyst for a series of events that Jump the Shark no less than ALWAYS.

You know how sometimes when you turn on a hose, you have to let all the black gunk out before the water starts? That describes my work (word used loosely) at TPTF.

That was the point. Fanfic to me was the purge so I could go on and do things of my own. It's why my highest rates are for working in other peoples' continuity. I feel too constrained now.

Well, you're like Tolkien and I'm like Asimov or Heinlein. Different styles. I mean, I wrote over 200,000 words in a novel series before I hit the point where I thought I was doing something that really worked. What came before will make a good story when what came later is done and has given better structure to the whole thing. The UA's first story is weak but then gets strong from story 2 onwards. I tend to prime the pump by writing a boatload first.

Well who knows if the suit can be removed... it could be perminant...
