I enjoy doing these... They make look at my art in the course of the entire year, make me reflect, make me muse and make me think.

When it comes to numbers then I didn't create as much as I have over the last years. If it hadn't been for my job one or two of those fields would probably even be empty. That scared me a bit. Not being able to do art, for lack of time, energy and muse is a frightening thing to me... This year was just as much an emotional rollercoaster for me, as it was the year before and it doesn't look like it will stabilize any time soon, but maybe I have to let go of the idea that something like that will happen. Maybe I will be more ballanced once I accept that there will constantly be events working against me as well as for me.

Anymoo... it's not been all bad. While I didn't get to do much, I think what I did was good. I rediscovered pride in my own work, joy in what I do, both are extremely valuable feelings that I missed a lot during the last years. I think I learned a lot, but I also am aware of the fact that there is just about as much left for me to learn _still_

I am looking forward to 2013, to the new things it will teach me, the feelings it will re-introduce me to... I hope your art year was a positive one as well. :)
