Lynsdey strolled into the room with her cup of hot cocoa, grabbing a decently sized present from the outskirts of the tree blanket as she past. Dropping it in the wolf's lap she preceded to unceremoniously plop onto the love seat -somehow managing to not spill her drink- and tucked her cold paws up under Habude's thigh and buttocks. Her mate cringed from the sudden cold contact and glared at the snow leopard before aggressively flinging the now unwrapped top ribbon of his present at her. Had it been any other item it might have done some real damage, but as a simple ribbon it floated down onto her arm as it reset over the back of the couch. Bringing her steaming mug closer to her lips to drink she stuck her tongue out at the silly grey canine teasingly before her first sip, but he was oblivious. A loud shredding of paper broke the somewhat silent atmosphere, as Habude used his claws to easily rip open the top of the wrapping paper. The noise awoke the couple's sleeping shepherd mix from her spot underneath the tree. A place she had very proudly cleared out for herself a short time before, knocking several presents out of her way in the process. Now the dog looked up at the mystery box in her master's lap -one ear and one eye perked towards it- curious if it was anything of interest to her, more specifically 'Can I eat it?'. As Lynsdey sipped her cocoa she knew he'd be so exuberant with his opening and was only slightly disappointed that the extra layering of wrapping paper she's put on didn't slow him down in the least. In the mean time Habude had opened the inner box and his face lit up as he realized what she'd gotten him. Eagerly the wolf dipped both hands into the box to lift out the precious gift.
"Merry Christmas Darling" She whispered.
