I haven't drawn Rei in ages, and even then the pics of her aren't a lot or suck in quality. Plus, I had no idea what colors she needed to be up until I started working on this. I do love how she came out.

Gai and Rei are one of my most favorite couples among my characters. Among these reasons, it just cracks me up how Gai has to stand on his toes to kiss the dragon. And Rei cracks me up because of how startled she always gets by the brash feline's actions. XD

If you can't tell, this is also a pic of Gai before the Dreamweaver story, about twenty years before, when he, Dominic, and Rei were key figures in the war with the Blakedrake Empire. Gai also came out as the only survivor of the trio. Poor bastard. D:
