it wasnt that good I saw it also I did love the show as a kid and only saw seasons 3 and 4 of transformers till it got taken off and never saw season 1 and 2 till generation 2 which was a graphic dissapointment especially given the buildup.
Also hanna barbera no longer exisists after ted turner ruined it (we both know how and why which was BS) it lost money and went under and was absorbed into warner brothers and cartoon network studios and possibly william street were born.
what you may want would be a reboot (bandia owns the japenses stuff still and could change the name easily) and have it done as a paralele world

WB has actually put out a Gobots collection onto DVD
Since they own the entire Library of H-B & maybe Ruby-Spears toons
