Okay, so--I wanted to post this guy before Christmas, but I never got around to it--he's a fellow who had gone around in my head for a while before I thought I'd attempt drawing him.
His design on paper was a little generic in the hair department, though I think I worked that out better in pixel-form--it might be me, but his hair looks a little curly. A rather cute, yet unintentional detail that I just love~
Anyway, Hikaru isn't what others would normally consider a Firefox(which I think is a Red Panda? I'm not exactly sure, but that's what they look like...), since he is, well...a Fox. What makes him different are the tufts of red across his body(save for what's covered by his clothes--they'd burn otherwise), which glow aflame at will.
In essence, he gave me the thought of having him be a hero in the open, who while having to deal with those who would ruin the peace others enjoy, also has to deal with living an open truthful life, and dealing with the media.
I'm still unsure on some details that would go into the story, but I hope that someday, I can get something typed up for reading--though regarding my other ideas, I'm not sure if any of you would even want to read something like this. After all, you guys haven't exactly been very vocal with your opinions, so I wouldn't know what you'd want like the man in the moon. ^ ^;
Anywho, I'll leave you with a brief bio for Hikaru--no history yet, but I want to specify his fur pattern and all. ' ';

Fur: A light gold color with a brown secondary color. He also has red fur in certain places, such as across his back, and red spots on his arms, along with red fluff above his hands.

General outfits:
Casual: A modified hoodie of four colors made into a somewhat comfortable short-sleeved outfit. It comprises of Blues, Green, Red, and even Hazel colors. The pants he wears with it are Green, with Blue towards the middle of the legs. The boots of course are multi-seasonal, designed to stand up to the warmest of climates, and the coldest of seasons.
School Uniform: Hikaru's School uniform consists of a Grey shirt with short Black sleeves having white-trimming, a teal ascot, gold buttons, and the school's pin on the right breast as a sign of his link to the school. He also has to wear dark-teal pants, black shoes with a gold ring on top, and a white heel.
Family: Kaizuko Kirin Akihiro--Hikaru's Father: Prides himself as Hikaru's teacher in the ways of the Fire-Fox's duty, but is hardly arrogant. He feels a bit responsible for Hikaru's rash, yet tender nature.
Yuno Alphones Akihiro--Hikaru's Mother: A frail and delicate woman, Yuno has no special ability akin to her husband's flames, but can cook an amazing meal. When Hikaru isn't busy, he often helps her cook, and is a good cook in his own right.
Hikari Akihiro--Hikaru's twin sister:A strong young woman who seems to be the exact opposite of her sweet, and compassionate brother. She often shows an attitude to the boys who seek after her, but deep down is jealous that Hikaru can show kindness to people so easily...
