Crouching down to get a better look at what was ahead, Khaz briefly wondered at what point he had stepped off campus property in his descent. "Eh, probably doesn't matter," he said to himself, squinting to see the cave a bit better.
'Nother commission from crocdragon89, though I s'pose the logo in the corner gave that away. Colored in by myself. Not really sure where Khazix is at this point, though that was probably given away too from that small bit of narration. Way too much is given away in this pic', isn't it. Stop looking for stuff and enjoy it already.

It was pretty awesome. Not overly terrifying though as we were in a group.
I'm no geologist or Spelunking buff, but it was a cave made form an underground stream. So the whole time we were either wading through the water, or walking (crouching) past some deeper sections. I enjoyed it, but the whole time I was thinking about spiders. I don't think they live that deep (what would they eat?), but it just felt like it would be somewhere spiders would live. The arachnids engaged in psychological warfare and won.

Hmm, not so much anymore. This is just Khaz off exploring and probably sticking his snout into places it shouldn't be. It's all in my head, so I imagine it'll make a bit more sense after I flesh him out some more.
I did used to be somewhat though. Bunch of family trips involving going through old caves or tombs or temples. Not intense kind of things though, like legitimate exploration. I was too young to be going on anything like that. Just tour-ey stuff.
Reason I asked underwater though is cuz' I have done a little bit of that. Impossible to ever go too far in though unless you've got a lot of experience. Otherwise you end up either stuck or getting cut and it all just becomes one big mess. Literally, in some cases.
Might actually draw Khaz doing something like that at some point. Morphing himself up some gills. Already got most of the fins for it. Plus underwater places are just fun.

You've trekked through tunnels underwater? Wow man, that's hard core. Wouldn't want anything to go wrong there, hey. The torch could go out... something could happen to the air supply, or you could end up in a passage that's too narrow to turn around in. I imagine it would be a lot like falling head first down an narrow well. Bleh. But I guess that's part of what makes it fun.
And yeah for underwater breathing exploring. A bit OT, but do you play any of the Elder Scrolls games? I do that with my Argonian character all the time.

Some, but with an air supply. Scuba diving, so there wasn't really any danger. Aside from, you know. Getting cut. Getting stuck. Making sure I didn't run out of air. Never do it much cuz' of how much could go wrong, and there's pretty few opportunities to. I live in a landlocked state, so it's really only when we vacation somewhere tropical.
As for ES, I just got Skyrim a few days ago for Christmas. Still gotta start it up.
