First off, wonderful majestic posture there on this creature. This definitely looks like it could become an either proud or very cautious pose, but that will all depend on how you draw the animal's expression later. If this becomes a dragon, I suggest a longer neck and perhaps a longer tail (especially if this is going to have largish wings), which will make the creature look balanced. About the only issue I have with this right now is the head - it's not very well defined. But as this is a rough, that's quite forgivable.

A thought struck me, the wonder of digital drawings. I could save a separate file at this point and do both a kitty and a dragon (or something else entirely) if I have the energy.
