They are very common indeed. They also came shipped with the Vic 20 and 128 i think. Although you can get third party ones.

those bundles cames later, first time you had to buy anything seperate...

Floppy's were unpayable at the release date, so only chance to save one was on Tape

I know the commodore 64 came with a Datasette (at least mine did). The disk drive was an expensive extra but it was far superior to tapes.

yes, later releases was with Datasette here too, and way later releases came with Floppy Drive

i paid 800 Bucks for the C64 and 200 for the Datasette, ok parents paid

Commodore 64's go stupidly cheap on eBay. The first one I got included all cables e.c.t and it cost £30

I think the oldest thing I got is an IBM 5150

The IBM 5150 was actually the first PC as we know it. It's worth a lot. At least $700 or £500

it reminds me of my old room back when i lived with my parents. so many old stuff attracts an amount of dust that can be a big hinder for an asthma guy like me.
sometimes i'm glad i boxed most of that old stuff. it's fun to have a wide area of interest in old stuff but the room is and stays the same size =)

now, i won't lie to you. i think the drawings you have on this account are no different then those of a 13 year old girl but your hobby that involves electronics is something that gives this this place a nice positive spark.

i found one of these a few years ago at a local game shop by accident. it still worked and came with a full set of games and accessories. call it love at first sight mate :)
it's an old relic from the early 80's that suffered a big blow from the game market crash in 83. it can be a little hard to find a good one but it's unique.
