It turned out better than i figured it would. stuff will get better as i figure out what the fuck im doing, i promise. Photoshop CS6 has A TON features to tinker with. i also fucked up right out the gates by making the canvas. WAY. too small. details were done virtually in pixels.

ABOUT THE PICTURE?
its an idea ive had floating around in my head for a few years now. im fascinated by space and the monumental events that occur out there. this quiet dude floating around was a character ive had stuck in my head for 2-3 years now. i envisioned him as gods first self-aware creation. he is conscious, but not living. A consciousness that is spirit but without a beating heart. He is a being of immense power, capable of bending reality far and wide. however, the concept of power eludes him, his "power" just what he has come to know as reality. and he never uses his capacity to bend reality to permanently alter the world around him- that would ruin its beauty in his eyes. instead he has spent his entire existence drifting through the universe observing the events that occur within it. supernovas, comets, white dwarfs. his favorite however, would be pulsars. something so energetic about them, yet so peaceful. In all his billions of years of floating, He has never encountered another self-aware being. despite his borderline omniscient knowledge of the way in which the universe works, encountering earth and its inhabitants would blow his mind wide open. he lacks any understanding of anything beyond curiosity and observation. interaction with a human would leave him at a loss. Its not that he lacks emotion, but he has never exercised it. he probably doesnt even know he can experience emotions.
