I'm gonna comment on every single one of these, even though you're clearly being rational, purely because that guy (can't spell his name) is only targetting the Muirne ones.
You mentioned it seems a little odd. I would tend to agree, -but- Mewtwo's attempt to pull in more votes (the whole, vote and I'll raffle another commission!) was matched by Rafe, this one's got rather a lot of publicity, I'm fairly sure these lurkers are going to be watching ONE of us, and were motivated to vote...that and Muirne is rather popular on Eka's, people on there might have re-ignited their semi-forgotten accounts to support her here. Still valid votes, but just on lurkey accounts. I guess, I'm trying to say, just don't go around ignoring these votes, so far as I can see NONE of them are from throw-aways, none were created in the last month, let alone few days.

Ok....this one...MAYBE a dupe account. But still, 15th is a -long- time of preparation for this. The only reason people would be double-voting now is because bought votes don't get more pictures down the line. That only happened a few days ago. I still find this one hard to believe.
Dude....don't try and cheat like that. The account was made over a year ago, in 2011, it's obviously just a lurker who chose to jump in. It's not a crime to just come to FA for the arts.
Translation: Stank, don't discount that guy's vote, I doubt anyone went back in time to 2011, watched people and faved submissions for a year or so, just to nab a single vote today.

Another dubious one. Ok....Stank, I'd say, count them this time round, because you really don't have any way to tell. I'd argue the join dates give all the proof you need they're legit, but no other activity -is- odd. So give the benefit of the doubt this round, and from here on in make a point that votes can only be taken from -active- accounts?
I primarily meet and know people on Eka's portal chat, rather than here. Most of them have accounts here, and many of them are active, but it's inevitable that there'll be the odd person who is almost entirely active on Eka's and just uses their account here to access the adult art. I've never seen Roco on Eka's chat so he probably primarily knows people from here, meaning he won't have contact with those people who lurk here.
You've accused people who are well known members of Eka's, some of whom have been around for years, based on nothing.

Daxley and I have just talked about this in PMs and everything's been resolved. He may have been a bit overzealous with his accusations, but he meant well. I don't think any harm's been done and I want to thank everybody for being very civil about this so far. I've seen large fights break out over much less around these parts and I'm proud of you all for not doing so here.
Correct.
And if you've been following these you'd know that I often allow for extra time to resolve any issues that pop up (although voting closes sharply at the deadline), so there's no need to panic about the last minute unless you're trying to sneak a vote-buy in.

Stank, just to let you know. All of Daxley's 'scam' votes are from Eka's. Muirne and Rafe are -extremely- popular over there, and most vores I think prefer to steer clear of FA, these are just players that prefer Eka's to FA, and only came across to give their support to Muirne. It's cheating in exactly the same way Mewtwo offering $100 commissions to voters, and Rocco PMing people for their votes is cheating, in that, not at all. Please don't discount any of the 'suspicious' accounts. They're not suspicious, I know Tayra and KimGluttony personally, and most of the other names are Eka's names too. Rafe is popular on Eka's, Rocco is popular on FA.
I removed the comments, as I don't mean to offend anyone who is out there in the community and legitimately wanting to contribute. The pattern of information I had was downright disturbing, even if you have been on Eka's/FA/InkBunny and never post on any of the others, the fact that so many votes were coming in from accounts who had no avatar, no artist information, no submissions, no comments, no favorites, and extremely sparse activity was extremely odd and seemed fishy to say the least. You can't come out and say "Oh it's perfectly okay" and assume that there is no problem when you have a situation like this, because it's not okay, additional investigation is required.
Now that some research has been done, these individuals don't contribute to FA but they contribute elsewhere, and if they want to vote on FA that's perfectly okay with everybody. But the large slew of these types of votes (particularly as it was a one-sided deal) was extremely odd, and I wanted to make the contest was fair for everyone involved. It's been looked into, and all is right in the world.
To those people from Eka's though, seriously, spend 2 minutes and at least put something on your accounts (reference that you are normally on Eka's), so that you don't look so fishy!

No, that's perfectly fine, I appreciate why you did, and I would have done the same were the roles reversed, I reacted -because- it was so one sided.
The thing is, Rocco is popular here. Rafe and Muirne are popular on FA, she's just got her friends over there to come across and vote, and yeah, they should, if only to fave Rafe's submissions, but meh.

To be fair they don't usually have to vote on things like this!
Perhaps next time I'll find a way to branch the competition out to that site as well.
Thank you for removing your comments. You didn't have to, but it was a polite move that ensures this issue (which has already been resolved) won't pop up again. I appreciate it.

I vote for the underdog. It's just how I am. Considering I saw 32 votes BOUGHT for you and a lot will vote for the ones with tits and a curved ass...yeah, I automatically go for an underdog.
But if it means THAT much to you, considering certain unmentionables decided to come pissy at me for my decision...I'll just ERASE this entire comment and the vote can go poof.

I'm not Muirne, just a good friend of theirs.
and ouch? I wasn't being mean, it's just amusing, an entire week to vote, and well over half the results come in this last hour or so.
Plus, tits and a curved ass doesn't mean much on FA where most prefer males, particularly with vote, and in a contest of four left, Muirne's the only girl still in. 'voting for bewbs' isn't working so much as Muirne happens to be rather popular, the other mouse lost out badly last time round.

Hmm...well if I may be perfectly honest here. I looked at who was in it. I decided that Rotto was the underdog.
And yet...I still couldn't decide. To be blunt about it and be perfectly open. While I viewed Rotto as the underdog, it actually came down to...a coin toss.
Also, I realised I wrote the comment wrong when aimed at you, but I'd already clicked Post before reading it over.
But the fact remains...if you really want it gone...I will delete it. Simple as that.
It's bad enough my friends are tearing at me from both sides. One for wanting to stay out of it, and the other for making a decision they don't like.
And THAT is why I usually stay out of this bullshit.
I will slap the next person who asks me to vote on anything, because I'm sick of having my face chewed off for deciding, when I SUCK at making decisions.

Yeah, well...I deleted my vote. I'm going straight back to remaining neutral. I want no part in this. If having an opinion causes the effect of "choosing sides" between friends...then I remain standing on the line in the middle.
If friends and others will simply get mad at me just because I made a decision...then I don't want to vote. *Sighs.*
Thanks for your words, I just hope removing the vote causes things to settle down again.

Well I was just watching from the sidelines. I was content there. And I think I'll just go back to it. I deleted my vote.
Voting systems like this...it's like a war. Two sides, that are convinced their decision is right. And it just leads to conflict.
So I'm going to do what the cowards do. Hide in a bunker waving a white flag and be neutral. -w-

Unfortunately your vote did end up counting because I didn't see you deleted it in time. XD
Fortunately it wasn't 'the' deciding vote. In the end it was just another small statistic. Nothing worth fretting over.
I don't like that this put so much pressure on you, or that you were put in such a difficult position, but remember things like this AREN'T war. They're just fun and games. And just because other people are taking them extremely seriously doesn't mean you should too. Next time you start feeling this stressed about a decision try taking a moment to reassess the situation. Odds are if it's a vote on FA it's not going to be of any real importance. Certainly nothing worth ruining a night or friendship over. ;)

Yeah, the drama that springs out of something like this can be ridiculous sometimes.
The whole vote thing basically makes it a popularity contest in the first place. And using friend networks to gain votes does not seem unreasonable in such a context.
Roco (Rotto) is a friend of mine. I have been asking some friends of mine to vote for him since I'd also like to see him win, being a friend of mine. It was a bit disheartening to see my friends being attacked for voting from him and questioning where they came from.

It's people like you who make other people want to stay out of these things alltogether.
I normally try to avoid drama and don't want to become involved or instigate or fan it at all, but seeing some of your comments here is really disheartening for what should be a friendly competition.
I have no problem with the fact that Rotto lost. Even though I wanted him to win. Do I think he deserved to win? No. Do I think Muirne deserved to win? No. No one deserved to win. It was basically a popularity contest and Muirne proved to have more fans/friends on her side.
I would be saying the same if Rotto won. I'm not bitter about him losing at all. But just upset at some of the comments from people like you. Very unsportsmanlike.

Well, too bad. When I'm asked to help out however I can, I don't half-ass it. Just ask Mewtwo what I mean. I get passionate when I'm involved or forced to help someone I care for. If I get rude or mean, so be it. I don't care. If the person I was helping won, I'm going to be happy about it and proclaim that happiness. And, no, Muirne DID deserve to win because she was easily the underdog. I honestly don't know how she won, but as I stated before, what was meant to happen DID happen. Everything happens for a reason. If you're mad, go ahead and be mad. But, if you're going to do something, be passionate about it. Don't half-ass it.
So, what, we're playing football now? And how is that awkward? It doesn't matter if it's chess, or a video game, or thumb-wrestling, or a simple voting thing. When you do something, it's NOT "just for fun". Why bother participating in something if you're not there to win and do your best? If you come out on top, you deserve to be happy about it and be overjoyed. If you lose, you have every right to be upset and disappointed, too. Since when did the world become so pathetic that you can't even show emotion anymore? It's so distressing.
Everybody just relax a little bit.
Tails: It's fine that you're happy you won. You're certainly allowed to celebrate. But do try to be a little considerate to others. You didn't do anything wrong, but saying somebody 'deserves' something is a LITTLE inflammatory. Even if you disagree I'm sure you can understand that.
Artie: It can be upsetting to watch somebody celebrate in a fashion we ourselves wouldn't, but there's nothing that can be done about it. If you're offended, even slightly, sometimes it's better to just let it go. There are plenty of times to address the laws of sportsmanship, but directly after a competition is rarely one of them. Even if we don't realize it, sometimes our emotions are a bit tweaked and things can escalate easier at moments like this than they would at other times.
Both of you guys aren't truly upset, but I don't want either of you to get there either. For now I think it would be best if we both took a deep breath and stepped away from this comment thread for a bit.

Well the early rounds getting heated were partially my doing. Remember, I was snipevoting just about every round where I was buying in and only Stank getting crushed by more commission work through this program than he can handle prevented that from continuing for an additional three or four bouts.
It's going to be even more interesting given how many people still payvoted without there being an attached commission.
