It does make sense. I should read the rest of these stories. It seems quite realistic for a hypothetical situation in which humans and anthros coexist. (I've heard the whole "anthros as aliens" idea before in other furry lit.)

Okay then. I thought it was well-written considering the general quality of writing on the internet.
I certainly would like to know more about the universe it takes place in and the backstory behind this.
From what I can gather from that on story it appears to take place some time in the (possibly) distant future (considering the sci-fi elements) in which the Earth is united into one nation and the Earth government has diplomatic relations with a planet inhabited by beings that resemble anthropomorphic animals. Though I wonder how this happened, when it happened, etc.

Cute skunk. Guess the fox is unsure of a little inter species relationship. LOL

I am the author (I used the pseudonym "Little Bill" for these stories) of this story, and I commissioned this scene, for I thought it perfectly suited for this particular story. I only joined FA a few months ago and am glad to see it here!

The fox is actually straight, but Sammy tries to get him to try something different. Read the story.

As for the series, neither world is truly united; the Earth authorities are akin to NASA.
