Badger Island is a fictional country I made up. It is located east of Canada. Its capital is Badger Beach. It was first settled by the British people in the 17th century. It was later discovered in 1846 by the Americans. It was an British and American colony until it gained independence on February 8, 1893. Badger Island was a place for German refugees during World War II. Strikes have affected the country and the civil war had plagued Badger Island between 1984 and 1993. Some cities, towns, villages, settlements, parishes and hamlets were destroyed by the war. 212,232 people had died in the war. People living in the northeastern tip of Badger Island fled to other towns, including the capital. When Vincent O'Connell was elected president in 2001, Badger Island was affected by riots and civil unrest that killed more than 20,000 civilians and destroyed some towns, villages, settlements, parishes and hamlets.
