Huzzah, another Tank - Another British tank, to be exact.
The caernarvon is a Heavy Tank of the British Post-war development, it is a Conqueror Hull with a Centurion 2 Turret.
It has 130mm of armour on a 60* upper slope, giving it an effective armour rating of around 260mm, plus or minus Armour Homogenisation - the quality of metal.
This was made in direct competition to the USSR's IS-3 series heavy tanks, unfortunately, the development took many years, and by then the USSR scrapped their IS tanks and opted for their T-54 series tanks, developing them into the T-62 and beyond.
Because this is in World of Tanks, I am not saying any weakpoints on its armour - If you have shot at German vehicles, you should know.
British tanks are some of the least prone to fires in game, and the Last 120mm guns get British HESH shells, which translates to High-pen HE shells dealing tons of damage for a lower pen.

A very nice drawing. heh, I'm currently in the Black Prince, but after i took on a few Carv's with Tier seven tanks and came out the winner, I'm not so sure i want to continue grinding this tank. Even so, whats it like ta drive? :3

I dont Own a Caernarvon, but I have a friend who does. It is quite a fast heavy, easilly reaching top speeds - and Its best gun is like God for a tier 8 weapon (0.32); Even the GERMANS dont have a gun that accurate for Heavy tanks. Its Accuracy is UNMATCHED and ONLY beaten by the E50's guns (0.3m accuracy), but that comes in at tier 9 and 10.
The only problem is the weak Ammo-rack; it can be damaged (yet my friend hasnt been knocked out by) by hitting the Dead-centre of the lower font plate - but it will never burst into flames as us British were the smart ones to have the Transmission placed in the rear of the tank, and armour the fuel tanks and place them out of crew areas.

Hmm, interesting. i just unlocked the tank this morning, athough must now grind the inevtiable 2.5mil for it (something which i despise doing most of the time x3 i forget how i got 6 million for the Tier 10!)

I do like accurate guns. Sniping is what i do best... only recently have i gotten to grips with the IS line of brawler tanks (only due to the IS-6, have sold the IS-3 about 4 times since Beta)

Yes and no. Their *is* russian bias, but its no way near as strong as it used to be! Back when it was just Russian-German... That was harsh x> you could smell it! The removal/change of the KV was good breaking down of that Bias. Still, the Brits are all around good, so-so x> don't mind them (I look forward to the TD's) just got into the T5 light n researched the T8 heavy x>

Yeah, back in 0,7.0, KV was WAY OP, the KV3 was just a Monster at tier 6, and the IS7 is the best tier 10 in Clanwars and on the battlefield

Crusader is a buger to grind, but a fully upgraded Cromwell is like Hell on Tracks, super speedy, great gun, good RoF. It is by far the best tier 6 "Medium" tank as you can easily out-manouever TDs with it and most HTs.

11 thousand battles? I feel obsolite! x3 (i have done baout 7k in total since august 2010ish xD i dont play that much) Heh. I go by Estoni on WoT personally, i dont play that frequently but do play. because... yes.
AS for inaccurate-oath, well thats the Americans for you isnt it. i enjoy the Easy-8. the T32 is a fun grind, i always enjoyed going hull down, or facehugging (athough i found the latter more effective on the T29, its again been a long time since i played those tanks) However when i did the T32, we had the T34 to look forward to x3 i wish they had never taken that tank out of the game. 95% of players called it shit. 95% of players didnt have a *clue* how to play it. Play it right, and it was a 8-10RPM killing machine, compariable to the T30 now. hell, i circle strafed a Maus to death in it once, on a slope. That says a lot... now its Butchered and crap, and i should sell mine since i never drive it ever... Blah.

The fact that i could take on IS-3's at range and beat them was a testomony to that (something i did a fair bit of in that tank) i prefered the 107 to the Derp Gun mind. Its been toned down now, i never play it anymore. in fact, i sold it earlier. Funyn how things go.

I will be getting the Caeranrvon after i grind another 1 million in credits or so. I suppose that's what premimum tanks are for, but then I'm lazy. Heh. And the Crusader... Blah. three battles, feels like a T34 with a hangover. Shame really. I hear however, the Cromwell is Excellent and the Comet is crap. In fact, i hear it only gets good again at Tier 9. Oh well~

But there is a saying about WW2; When the Brits flew over, the Germans ducked, when the Germans flew over, the Brits ducked, when the Americans flew over, Both ducked... Americans apparently also bombed French Peasants accidentally...
A Premium Tank helps massively with earning credits... I have a Panther M10 (A very balanced and some times weak tank, mind you - Unlike the other prems with Big guns and huge pen) and I make 30-40 k on average...
But there is a saying about WW2; When the Brits flew over, the Germans ducked, when the Germans flew over, the Brits ducked, when the Americans flew over, Both ducked... Americans apparently also bombed French Peasants accidentally...

I have a lot of premium tanks, athough if i was honest i sold my T34 as i got it for free once they removed it from the Tier tree, and comprihensivly destoryed it. If you wanna know what the real T34 is like, drive the T30 with the smaller gun. Its fantastic. As for premiums... Heh, i have far far too many, but the Panther/M10 is not one of them. i decided to get the AT-15 instead, but find no amtter what i do, making more then 20k is a blooming slog. Which is a shame. Not had very good battles in it mind, i find the IS6 is a great moneymaker, on par with the Lowe (i fell out with that tank a few months ago)
Ironically, i got my Carv, played two battles (in which i enjoyed it) and then... BAM. Graphics card died, which is the second time World of Tanks has killed one of my cars. so WoT is on hold until i can get a new card (incoming)

I also think the most money i made was 160K off the Jagedtiger 8.8... hulled down in the open (no arty) with an T32 and held off like 9 tanks. was fantastic fun x3

Only Thirty quid. I run a Nvidia GTS8800 (Purpiously a cheapish one s i can replace it anytime i need to x3) But yes. When i come back, I'm going to Carve it up with the Caerthingmagic! *grins* Hopefully not tun into you mind. I think your probibly a better playing! (I dont know if you think anything of Effiency ratings mind, i find their not always as true as they can be x3 (somehow i have a 1300 rating, gosh knows how i got that!)
(efficiency rating of 1200, would be better if I didnt have Garages full of Scouts for much of my starting time on WoT)..
My one is a bit bad, a Geeforce GT530 or something, but it hasnt failed me yet; this PC is sturdy - only the failure that is Windows 7 OS that lets it down...
Oh, and to get your hopes up, Caernarvon's upper plate is impenetrable by tier 10s, only T10 TDs or arty close-range shooting AP can crack through it. But its side armour is paper and the lower plate is plastic...

My garage is full of EVERYTHING IN SIGHT... because thats how i roll *megaflex* Even so :3 Hehe. I could never play the scout effectivly. the only one i roll is the Type 62 and even in that, i suck. I tend to play Heavy tanks and TD's most effectivly (ought to see me with a good day in the T30)
Sounds like normal tanks. was designed to take on IS tanks frountally and such. i shall have to drive it some more soon :3 When my new card comes in... *noddy*

I am a Menace when I play Scout tanks sometimes; Ive learned that there is no use dying early getting spots when you can just camp in a bush and let your team rack up the kill count into YOUR bank.
I reccomend the T71, it's got decent mobillity and packs a punch with its autoloader; Do a drive-by to spot only a few tanks before running to allies, staying alive, you acn get a few kills by "Surprise Mothathukka"-ing them, dealing 900 damage in 12 seconds allows you to pick off low-health tanks - even when they are in a group

Mhm not really sure about the durabilty (irl) of the front armor of the FV caernavon/Conqueror ...
i only remember the powerfull anti-tank 120mm gun .... but it wasn't even british ....
I play both , Warthunder is sure better than Wot , But Wot is a totaly different gamaplay ....
