well, if you're geared up your room looks like it has plenty of explanation of why, all over the walls. i have trouble with people coming into my home too, but good'ol 7.62 keeps'em down pat... kidding i don't really have that problem, BUT IF I DID... well they wouldn't come back for more, much less anything else.

while it is implied I would shoot to kill, it depends on the poor bastard walking into my home, and his intent, generally... its just best to talk your target out of his actions, and have him stay forcibly on the floor until police arrive. however, some times people just want to kill for the thrill, and anyone like that wandering into my home, will get put out of their misery plain and simple. .... and it you really want someone to think twice about wandering into your home, rock salt in a 12 gauge ought to do nicely.

bottom line... Don't shoot if you don't have to, it causes messy legal processes even if you don't shoot. just make sure you're in the right, should you need to take a life :\ unfortunately.. people that go and do mass shootings do so because they have a screw loose somewhere, and feel that they are invincible.. that whole complex breaks down pretty damn quick when rounds start flying back. it breaks their whole fantasy world... causes them to rethink what the hell kind of atrocity they are in the midst of carrying out in the first place, and usually will result in more lives saved due to the shooter taking his own life.. because someone had a gun, and the balls to stand up to him.
