You can't see them, but I actually have little blue/silver fairy wings on. (Ok you can see them a bit!) Version two of my character in a friend's book. Unfortunately, she passed and the story has been passed on to the editor to finish. It is a steam punk themed story that has to do with fairies in an almost post apocalyptic setting. My character actually is half fairy and uses a feather quill pen with magic to kill her enemies. She is also the holder of some very dangerous information in her journal.
