Still feeling the itch to do some more painting practice with oC, I decided to revive a very, very old character idea, simply called Epoch. (rule of thumb - if a character has a very lame/inappropriate name, safe to say it's a a very "old" character who still has no definitive new name or whose name stuck despite said lameness/inappropriateness. Epoch here leans towards the latter).
in b4 "Chaos from Sonic Adventures clone" - yes, fine, the inspiration came from there but that's where the connection ends. Moot point anyway, as I never really gave much thought in terms of backstory to this character anyway, besides Epoch referring more to the cybernetic unit that forms her "true" body rather than an actual name (the water form will just take shape so long as said unit is activated near an appropriate-sized body of water, hence the comment).
May or may not scrap. Also, yeah, technically the shape is female but the gender tag is set to "Not Specified" simply because...water has no actual sex, last I checked. Not even robo-water.

Definitely one of your more imaginitive creations, Kompy ^_^ Could Epoch have control of water in any form? Would she be gaseous if she were steam or solid if she were frozen?
(Oh, and I say "she" because the concept of what constitues gender is up to a good deal of speculation. There are those who say sexuality is part of one's mind rather than one's body; if so, Epoch could very well be female no matter what her body is made out of.)

Thanks! And, hmm....I doubt it, as those artificial nerve endings would need something to latch onto to pass data to and gas form just does not compute well. As for solid, the Epoch could well temporarily freeze certain parts of the water-limbs to form, say, icicle spikes and the like, but a completely frozen body just isn't feasible. You probably hit on one of the more common problems with the Epoch unit, probably one of the reasons its use is kept in check (if you can't tell, it's primarily a killing machine :P)
(Fair enough, that's just me being nitpicky. I call Epoch a she for the most part, too. Of course, what Epoch pictures itself to be PHYSICALLY and what it pictures itself to be MENTALLY are different things. I'm not even sure if she can even talk yet o_o )

A fair bit, I say. So long as the minimum amount of water required to give her shape is within reach of the Epoch unit at all times, she can in turn dispense that water into more or less whatever she wants. Her favored means of battle is to reshape her limbs, tail or even head area.
