Zia enjoying his practicing of some gongfu cha using a yixing clay pot and pu'erh tea. This is one of my passions so I thought i'd have it drawn by my fave artist finally. This was beautifully done by

It's really hard to pick one.
but. I'd say my top faves are both ripe and raw (sheng) pu'erh medium-loosely packed into a disc or brick as well as wuyi oolongs such as da hong pao or rou gui as well as greener oolongs from Fujian or Taiwan such as ti kuan yin and milk oolong. All very yummy and fragrant.

I order from vendors from China or vendors who have bought teas from farmers/ethical standard factories in China or Taiwan, mostly. if I had to recommend a "brand" it would be Adagio or Rishi. They're a good introduction to the best of tea. you can note me if you'd like to discuss it further.
Really nice pic, non less I'd expect from Jailbird and I like the lovely face of you here^^,
btw, I like tea too^^ I mean I really into it (the tea culture and ceremony) for so many years already, and gathered a descent collection of rare and unique examples^^ (I'm more of a collector, but practicing my brewing skills too^^, so if you will have some time and would like to chat- we could share some experience^^ )

Posted 9 years ago lol. Hey, tea is forever and I was in China in (thankfully) early 1999 and while there visited the Longjhing (Dragonwell) tea plantation in Hangzhou and did a tea tour of Beijing during which I was introduced to Pu'erh tea. It remains one of my favorites to this day and when I posted a pic of an OC of mine in the tea bar of Gunfire Reborn I had him drinking Pu'erh which we did first in a similar location. Looks like yours there was raw which is good though I prefer ripe. I could not help but look to see if mine was the first pic here to feature that tea, of course it was not and glad to see a familiar artist drew yours.
