So just to get this out of the way: This is a trial run and not meant to be perfect. I personally have always disliked drawing comics, but I decided to give it a shot again.
A lot of you probably won't understand what's going on, as it's just a random scene, there's nothing before or after. The rabbit, Cara, is a character I designed a while ago and neither of these characters are fully fleshed out yet.
To put it simply, Cara isn't a good person, and has a lot of issues. I made her to have a character to draw that isn't all smiles and rainbows. However, I started developing her further. The cat, a boy with no name right now, is someone she got together with and probably the only one who can really change her, if even a little. But the relationship starts out really rocky, which is what I wanted to draw. Cara is the type to normally not care how she acts, but this new boy is making her hate how she's treating him.
So, my verdict? I still dislike drawing comics haha. I enjoyed this one because it wasn't a commission and I like the characters, but it takes way too much time and is hard to do. But, it was a great break from commissions, since I don't do personally work often. Back to work now!

I remember Cara, she seems misunderstood, as far as her attitude goes, and i may be completely wrong with this, as i have no idea how the character is, but, she seems like the type of person to treat the people she cares about the most badly, and dosen't want to show any weakness by letting them see her nice side.
just because i watch Too much TV, i feel this way, and like i said, i could be completely wrong :P

So far, she isn't developed enough for me to know. I wouldn't say misunderstood though, as there's a difference between people not understanding what you mean to show and just actually being a mean person. But as said, this boy is sort of making her not understand who she is anymore. He's very kind and sensitive. That's all I've got so far.
This looks really good, Neko :D Maybe you should do short one-shot comics once in a while, it's good practice for expressions, even though you don't need that! ;D
I'd love to see more about Cara though, she seems like the complete opposite to how you portray Neko. It's good!
(Also, going back to a previous conversation. Tinker Bell = GREAT MOVIES. Watched the first two today!)

Wow, this actually turned out really well. Maybe if you get on one of those sites that pay you by the view because of the ads, you can get paid for the comics without them being commissions. Would that make the dislike any less? Because, honestly, I'd love to see more, and see how things developed between the two.
Could just be something you do on the side, no rush or fuss or muss or pressure. Have the site up, and whenever you need a small break, work on another strip until you're either done or had enough of a break. When the strip is complete, then post it on the site and give the rest of us a head's up. I know after seeing this one, I'd definitely go out of my way and have the patience to see more. But then, that might just be me xp
They are newspaper style, so 13 inch Dailies, and 1/3 page Sundays.
Strips aren't as easy as they look. Unlike a comic such as what you've posted here, you have to write it in much smaller chunks, and then draw it to fit both the art, and the script into the format. Sundays provide more breathing room for creativity, but you still have to fit the format. With a webcomic, you get the full 1/3 page to work with, but in the real world, you only want a throwaway joke in the top third, since that will usually get thrown out by editors trying to get the most for their money.

I don't personally agree. Someone just slammed a door, you're not going to have the same expression as how you feel once everything's sinked in.
She's also obviously hiding how she feels, shown in panel 3, someone like that wouldn't let down her guard until they're sure the person is gone.

This is a beautiful comic page -- I get the impression that some time passes before the final panel, because she's let the house get dark without turning the lights on. Or that's how I interpret it anyway. That's a clever way to let time pass while keeping the timing of the page moving along.
Cara always manages to break my heart. I remember this little sequence from the art you drew of her earlier, and that last picture of her crying alone in the dark is just heart wrenching. It's like she can only really feel when she's all alone and by then it's too late. And the fact that she brings it all on herself doesn't stop me from feeling bad for her.
The comic page is incredibly well done, by the way. It has a very smooth narrative flow and it's easy to follow. What's more, I think the pacing is just right, especially at the end. I like that you're given a beat panel between the boyfriend leaving and Cara's breakdown. It makes her grief at the end all the more poignant as you've got that moment where it's all sinking in for her. You can see the walls she's built up around herself crumbling in that moment and you know that she'll just do it all again the next time she sees him. And that's what really makes this moment so sad. She knows what she's like, and what she'll doe, and she can't stop it. Or anyway, that's what I get from this, and I hope I'm not reading far too much into it.
It's great to see Cara again, too, by the way. Odd as it might sound, I've kind of missed her.
