Here's one of my pony characters based off another character of mine.

Name: Merena

Species: Unicorn

BIO: Merena is the daughter of a unicorn from a noble background who fell for an earth pony from Manehattan. She was raised in Manehattan from childhood with her best friend, Silver Wings, the son of a pegasus and her aunt, another earth pony. As it sometimes goes the two grew fonder of each other as they grew older and eventually the inevitable happened and Silver Wings proposed. Months after the marriage Merena broke the good news to Silver he was to be a father, and they were overjoyed to see triplets. Though they were somewhat shocked to find out that somehow they had a pegasus and an earth pony colt, and a unicorn filly. It was about a year later they adopted a unicorn colt that was left on the door of the fire department Silver Wings worked at. Another year later, Merena told Silver they were going to have another filly. Silver was excited and went out to celebrate with his buddies from work... he didn't come back that night... he never would. The news hit Merena hard. Very hard. Hard enough that despite the efforts of some of the best doctors in Manehatten she couldn't prevent her filly from being born too early. Merena moved to Canterlot after that. Her happy years with Silver haunted her in the city of her birth, and she preferred to remember them from afar. She also didn't like to think about what could have been... Healing came to her years later when she took in an orphaned colt from the Canterlot Orphanage. The matron told Merena he was the child of two of Princess Luna's personal guard who had died in a house fire they ran into in order to save the life of another child. Merena took pity on the small pegasus, especially after she heard he was teased, rejected, feared, or out right picked-on by the other children simply for his wings. Hoping for an easier life for her new son and a quieter life for her children Merena moved out to Ponyville and has been living happily with her children there ever since.

Cutie Mark: Merena's Cutie Mark is a rolled bolt of purple silk. Her special talent is working with fabrics, particularly in weaving. The first thing she ever made was a simple length of purple silk. Though there are many others who can easily best her in making clothing, no pony can make finer cloth than her.
