So after enough bitching about being bored, I just put everything down and played some vidya for a while.
And I picked up Demon's Souls again for the dozenth time because... I hate myself I guess, and I went to visit my faaaaaaavorite level, the Tower of Latria.
(and I'm no0t being sarcastic, I actually really enjoy that level)
and all the while, taunting mindflayers and firing soul arrows because I'm being a giant weenie and playing a Royal.
(for those unfamiliar, the Royal class starts with a long range spell and a ring that gives magic regen. It makes the earlier portion of the game pretty easy-modo)
and thanks for people making suggestions on my journal, it's got my mind working again. But nobody be offended If I don't do your ideas.

congrats, Dark Souls might be easier then..or harder, if your picking it up for the first time, n00bs have trouble playing it to the point it's almost funny...I mean, I usually get bored after the first 5 minutes of playing after the introduction "stage", then I start building a character that just ends up making the game "harder" (I mean, seriously, a magic-user that wears heavy-freaking armour?!?!? or a freaking gauntlet-weapon user that wears NOTHING armour-wise?), yet people are amazed because I end up fighting these massive freaking bosses that they always claim are "almost impossible" to beat..it only saddens me that my I don't have Xbox Live to share my BAMF nature with, heh
I play both off and on, I have yet to finish either. I like Demon's Souls better, but both games are okay. I feel that DeS has a much better, more uncomfortable atmosphere. It's grimey, dirty, and nobody seems sane at all. You really feel paranoid and alone in a world of monsters.
Dark Souls... I like the bosses, but I didn't like the actual world itself. I think a lot of people agree that DaS was a little rushed and wasn't quite as a complete neat package as Demons Souls was.

ah...well...in all honesty, I probably should play Demon Souls at some point, but I'm not sure where I can get a copy, or if I even have a system able to play it...I've got a computer with a steam account, a 360 I have access to, an original xbox, and that's it pretty much...if I had access to it, I'd definitely give it a try, same reason why I picked up Fallout BoS
