got this as a tribute for the peaceful town I live at. I lived here for nearly 20 years. The town of Newtown. as well as for my former preschool, Sandy Hook Elementary. where 20 young children and 6 teachers and staff, including the principal, lost their lives to a horrid act of evil.
a school rape or homicide was the last thing I would ever anticipate happening near my home. but nobody would anticipate anyone taking away lives of young children especially in a peaceful, loving, town... Like Sandy Hook... and Newtown, Connecticut.
May god watch over your young souls and take care of you. be at peace.
edit: I asked gem to edit out one candle because it turns out that the mother of the shooter was actually insane and was buying all these guns in fear of an apocalypse and letting her son have them in the first place. she was quite insane and honestly. she wasn't careful at all. and wasn't working in the school either. I know it sounds kinda insensitive to the mother but I think the candles should represent the lives lost in the school.

my heart and tears go out to those who lost their lives and to the families who's families were torn apart that day. For many, the world ended that day and no one can ever change that. May those who have lost a child, a brother, sister, father, mother, teacher, principle and student have as much support as they can to try and recover from this evil act of violence.

Oh yeah that is right, you are from Newtown and still live there I think. This is such a horrible tragedy and when 26 innocent lives, 20 of them being children at that were cut short in such a viscous act of horrible atrocity and I am so sorry for the family's that had there worlds shattered that day and for all the lives that were ended on that day. I really do pray for all the family's and your town and I am glad that the bastard that did it was not taken alive but I do feel for you and this picture really does what happened justice as a great memorial to what happened so I am so sorry that this has to happen to your town beto and this pic is very beautiful and great way to remember the victims.
I also live in Connecticut and I have for my whole life. I tell you, when I went to college after that, nothing was the same for a whole week. I had people crying in the middle of class, heck someone walked out mid class cause they knew some of the students of Sandy Hook from babysitting them. May all those innocent angels watch over everyone and have peace.
