My Dad loves planes and is a pilot-in-training, so he goes to the plane convention in Oshkosh, Wisconsin (the largest in the world, if I recall, and conveniently about three hours away) every year. I'm not much for planes myself--except for historical ones, of course, so I decided to go this time.
This one one of the neat things I found in the museum. The plaque says:
"While it is difficult to make out, whis boot cowl from a 1942 Stinson AT-19 (aka V-77) s/n FK 958 bears the remnants of nose art it acquired sometime during its WWII service.
Like almost all AT-19s, it went to England as part of the Lend-Lease program through which the Allied powers shared war materiel. The plane was retruned to the United States post-war and parted out somewhere along the way.
The cowl still carried its last WWII paint when it was sent to Skyhaven airport in Tunkhannock, PA to be stripped and prepped for installation on the owner's AT-19. Partway through that process they noted the faint outlines of the nose art and halted their work. With original WWII nose art being such a rarity, it was decided to preserve the display cowl as is."

Haha, I think it's easiest to see the "S" in "Sweet" and the first "R" in "Lorraine" almost directly below it. I can also make out the lady's waist, right arm and eyes and mouth, and one calf. But, I have rather keen eyesight. :3
