rika poured over my commission concept list, and this bubbled to the top. I've been waiting for someone to have a go at alternate Rooth forms, but what usually stops me from actively promoting it is that I never know when I might get another chance to commission /that/ artist again, and I feel kinda empty if I walk away from an artist and they haven't drawn one of my main characters in their normal form. So imagine how happy I was when Rika offered to do a TF sheet. BEST OF BOTH WORLDS! I get that itch scratched, and I get a cool interpretation of Rooth in another form. :)So here's Rooth, transforming into some Renamon-like creature. Rooth style. ;) Naturally, that form looks somewhat feminine. It's Renamon's curse, no matter how many times she says Digimon are genderless. Just the way it is. Although, it's an interesting glimpse into what the female anthro version of Rooth's species might look. Hmm!
Anyway, TFs are fun. I dig 'em. ^_^

You know, I've been intentionally mis-using 'poured' for a couple of years now in these submissions. You're the first person to point it out. Congratulations, you win my grammar lottery. ;)
And ... keep that as a character version? You mean, like, make a 3rd Rooth'* character? Hmm. But would it be a distinct individual, like Rooth'roo now is to Rooth'ragon (didn't start out that way; was initially just an alter-ego morph, sorta like The Hulk) ... or would it just be a morph. Hmmmm.

I just fear Rooth turning into a boi or a female or something I'd be uncomfortable with. New / distinct character that happens to share the same color scheme is more comfortable, regardless of gender. I recently bid on a character adoption (and lost) but clearly I'm in the mood for a new character. Hmm. ;)
I'm a fan of the show, through the 4th or 5th season anyway. Particularly fond of season 3 (Renamon comes from #3, "Tamers"). It's Pokémon (as a show) I didn't really care for. Honestly don't care for many of the creature designs either, though some of them are pretty cool.
I like the Rooth'namon translation, but I think maybe the yin/yang symbols would need to be swapped out for something else. Not sure what yet. And they should appear on the arm-things also. But what symbol .. I could think of several contenders. :)
