"It may strike many of you as odd, I'm sure, that a being such as myself has the time or inclination for this.....but even we reapers do take time every now and again to step back and simply reflect on what we've seen and experienced. We're hardly gleeful, mindless cullers of souls....well, most of us, anyway. When I feel the need, I simply travel to a special little pocket of space that I've furnished to my needs, and there I take the time to unwind and reflect on those whose souls I've ferried over to the other side....there are always lessons to be learned, even for beings such as myself...and, let's be honest, even WE need breaks."



I figured I'd try something new (for me) with my Reaper, Samhain....something that's not adult, for starters, but also, I tried do something a bit more serious with this bust I got as the second part of the commission deal from .... I wanted to give a little bit of insight into her personality aside from naughty matters, so I did a bit of tweaking to the original bust, adding a background and some shading effects, in addition to the blurb of text...I figured it'd set the mood better. (I apologize ahead of time to if I offended them by adjusting things....I hope you don't mind! ^~^;; )

Samhain's actually a rather thoughtful, introspective individual...she's seen a lot in her days as a Reaper, and she's done her best to learn from it, to strive to understand mortals a bit better.
