Modelling attempt #4. Fat cat - Acceptable output.
So finally I learned the basics of character creation in Blender. This is my first model which I finished until it being not perfect but okay for the first time :)
That was really entertaining. Phew... now need some rest. Spent about.. IDK... 3-4 days in a row working on this model.
I really think I should practice in Blender much more. Because a lot of mistakes were made... so based on my newly obtained knowledge - I think I can improve many of them during next modelling sessions.
Also I want to say that 3d modelling is really entertaining process and also hard too (maybe for newbs like me).
If you have anything to say or have questions - don't hesitate to use comment section... b-e-l-o-u-w... (what the? I haven't seen RWJ too long for it to come up... oh well.)

Thank you for that tip. :) I tried to use sun without much tweaking - so it flooded everything with light and that was not cool at all. So I decided to stick around with projected spot lights.
I think that scenery and pre-rendering preps are most unfunny parts for me. That's why I skipped them mostly and focused on actual modelling and rigging the thing.

If you're talking about Blender about a year or two ago. When version 2.4 was around - I also tried to work with that. But GUI was so horrible and scary. I could barely put a new mesh on a scene.
But now interface is much more comfortable. And there is a lot of tutorials out there now. One of which I followed closely. It really helps out with that.
