I updated my network map to reflect its current state.
The map was split into two sides to represent the two seperate rooms where each of the devices are located: Left side is the living room; The right side is my office.
Each of the computers have their own roles they play in the network.
Xion Four uses an HDMI connection to the TV set, and uses that as it's main monitor.
One thing that has some people confused is the existence of a second Router within the map. Really, a router can work just like any other node. I mainly just added the wireless router in there as a way for my 3DS to use its Wi-Fi features, then I had Xion Four and Xion Five make a secondary connection to the Wireless router, just for amusment.

for this i have several questions...
1: are you using actual HUBs or are they switches?
2: why is there a HUB AND a Router in the laft room. you should be able to hook up all those devices to the router. wouldnt it be more efficient that way?
3: what kinds of cables and wireless are you using?

I did use the word 'hub' rather generically. They are switches.
The hub was in the left room first, and I pretty much just threw the Wireless router in there a couple years after. There is not enough network traffic occuring for this to have any reduced performance. If that did happen, then I'd go back there and re-wire everything.
The cables are Catagory 6. The wireless router is a Cisco Valet using a WPA configuration.

looks a lot like my old set-up XD just less computers. the elecy bill got to much so had to shut down most of my rigs especially that damn p3 server i had friking thing was POWER HUNGRY! almost take over the world hungry. but AP routers are the best investment to my wired network i ever got. one day i'll get my work rooms back XD
