Finallyyyyyyyyy ermergerd
I never do: a) buildings, b) linear perspective type stuff, c) male anthros, d) scared expression/pose so this was rather outside my repertoire and I'm guessing the linear perspective may look derp to seasoned artists but it was the best I know how to do. XD I haven't done anything this linear since like 6th grade when we were forced to in art class hah. It was good practice doing something different though :O
I loved drawing his character - wallabies <3 His design is really pretty too (here's his ref: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8787492/), unfortunately the shading and lighting both washed out some of his markings and spots ;-; I don't know what I could have done about that, if anything. Glowies are always fun too and I like how the frothy sea and the fog came out.
This is based off of a place in a book by H.P. Lovecraft (the title of this piece is the book title), btw. I haven't read it but the commissioner gave me a basic description of the scene and a photo that I pretty loosely based this on.

Yessir! I had never heard of Lovecraft before doing this commish though and have yet to read any of his work. Never really been into horror films so I assume books would be similarly uninteresting to me? I know books are much better than movies though, so who knows. I haven't tried since Goosebumps when I was like 10 haha.
