Another sort-of 3D wall hanging thingie. One of my friends is expecting to be a dad any minute now. We know it's gonna be a girl, so for Xmas I gave her a pre-birthday present for her room (which has a large apple tree painted on one wall).
The colours are brighter than my silly camera would allow.
The moon is the lowest layer, then the tree, then the unicorn, braced at the back so it hangs flush with the wall. Each layer is hand-coloured bristol with several lacquer layers over it to make it strong, more lightfast and dustable.
Again, commissions are always open for this sort of thing, if anyone's interested.

I could do then with pretty much any subject matter. I was planning on working up a few furry ones for the upcoming Furnal Equinox convention. I'd love to try one that's more anthro and less critter, or an elf, or whatever.
