A gift for a friend of mine, a thank you for favors rendered.
This one's only two layers deep, with the background raised up a bit so it sticks out from the wall.
The fur on this one turned out very nicely, which my camera failed to capture.
Like the others, all pieces are hand-coloured and inked, then lacquered to make them durable, dustable and more lightfast.
Commissions are open, if anyone's interested.

Ohhh I don't think so, you're work is amazing :)
I can understand that pain with cameras, I have to take photos of the portrait miniatures I make and I fiddle with res, lighting and mode. Taking a decent photo of 3d artwork is really hard!
Since it's flat (instead of convex) artwork in layers have you thought of scanning it without the scanner lid on it and just use black paper to cover the scanner with. A friend of mine did that for artwork that was layered paper.
