I'm not sure what the average size for gourami is, but mine is pretty big. Like, almost as big as my pleco, about five inches long (including tail). She's so hard to get a picture of because she doesn't like the camera for whatever odd reason. Seriously, she either darts around like crazy or hides behind the log or tree whenever I get close with it, though she has not problem if I come up to the tank without it. She'll stare right at me and try to reach out with her feeler, but heaven forbid should I try to take a picture.
