Old Man Pete and Sanchez are re-enacting a scene from Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet".
The old man has so much love to give!
If you are interested in a mating picture of these two, I can provide one since they both mated on the 9th of December 2012 :) I'm not sure though if it worked, so I tried again several times, but since Sanchez flees now every time she meets Old Man Pete, I think it might have worked the first time. I'm waiting for her building a cocoon with many baby spiders in it :3
By the way, tarantulas' mating looks like wrestling *g* nothing sexy at all XD

Not normally a spider guy but I gotta admit, these two look pretty cool. Tarantulas are on my list of spiders I'm actually cool with as long as they stay out of sight, and when we do see em, we generally catch em' and take em down to the river and let em go. Texas browns are actually pretty shy so we rarely see them. Good luck with the breeding!
