Greetings, Pozimi watchers! It's been a while since we last saw our chilly frient, but with the early snows this October, many thought he might be back. And, as nature photographer Harriet Phillips discovered during one of her hikes, they were right! She snapped this lovely photograph half a week ago, and was courteous enough to mail a copy to our newsletter.

In other news, there is an unusual number of reports from hunters of finding game already dead, frozen to death. Could these two occurances be related? Surely not, Pozimi fans! Our giant friend is a peaceful and harmless fellow.
