right that's it people we need an emergency meeting! go onto skype and contact me! even those who i have never met are invited! my skype name is on my profile add me as a friend.
there are several things we must discuss. the first and foremost is that i am not doing enough art! i need to tripple the amount i am doing so i can improve faster and better! i'v had it with all the years of artwork that is being considered sub-standard!
for my first order of buisness i am going to draw a minimum of 2 pictures a day, unless i have a valid excuse you all have permission to nag at me and get pissed off at me for not keeping my art up!
the second order of buisness is advertising me and my art, drawing the same pictures everyday gets boring so i need a wide range of followers who will ask for weird and wonderfull art! but for me to aquire those followers i need to be advertised.
and the last order of buisness... i'v seen so many artist who do almost no work, suck at art or are just plain dick-heads and yet they are getting so sucessfull! i need a gimmick to get people interested in me, maybe design a new type of derpy or other character and then put them on tumblr, the gimmick will get people asking questions and the advertising will help it.
i will obviously give credit to all those who gives me good ideas and i will repay you i promise.
so get down here now! i need your help!

Why not just think of art you haven't done before yourself? Draw animals you've never drawn before, or humans in odd positions (there are many sites dedicated to hosting pictures for artists to reference). Draw different types of characters- Muscley, skinny, fat, young, old. Look at references for all of these things, try drawing in another artist's style. You don't need watchers to make art- Make the art and the watchers will come.
hehe without realising it you kinda proved my point, yes your not a follower BUT you did just give me advice which i hadn't thought of before so you helped me... hehe and that's exactly what i said in my post x3

my point was i needed help from the public by advertising my art, by posting this i advertised it, even if it was only advertised to the 20 or so people who were actually looking around in the browse section but either way you turned up and helped, soooo yeah still my point lol.
as for what you said... do what i don't to improve... um... that may mean i will have to cross a few boundaries i keep for myself.
i'v drawn pretty much every safe thing out there, i'd have to go into NSFW teritory which maaayyyy be a bit difficult at first

That's not true. All I see in your gallery is My Little Ponies, except for a few instances where you draw skinny teenage-looking people. Try drawing horses from reference of actual horses, try drawing older people, try drawing muscular people, or fat people. No need to cross any boundaries.

i have done a lot, only recently have i done more pony than other things.
... um 3 of those were actually other peoples characters, i used their pictures as refrences... the styles are different and the way they are designed compared to my own characters are different... you did look at them all right? also i have drawn horses, then i roboticised them for my A-levels... obviously i couldn't upload those though
Improving takes time, there's not quick way to do it and there aren't really any short-cuts.
As for getting more followers.. Again, there aren't really any short-cuts.
Kiribans, give-aways, raffles and contests help bring in new watchers.
Let your watchers know you care.
Directly telling everybody that you need a gimmick to bring fame isn't exactly helping, either.
Churning out more art and learning new techniques is your only sure-fire way to bring in watchers. Also, work on subject matter you haven't tried yet and try to find some tutorials.

i understand where your comming from... and i know theres no quick way in improving, kinda why i said i need to draw more, i'v been drawing for 12 years and i'm only at THIS level of art... which kinda sucks, "Churning out more art and learning new techniques" yeah that's what i'm hoping to do, draw a lot more, minimum two pictures a day. all different.
i have done a few give-aways and i'm in the middle of a raffle, not sure what a kiriban is but i'll look into it. i'm always doing free art for loads of people and there are perks of being a watcher, any of my watchers can request pictures and most of the time i'll draw them...
as for the gimmick thing... i never thought a gimmick was a bad thing, i'v seen some rather cool ones like the murdering pinkamena diane pie one, that got thousands of followers and when he made a new one about the masochist rarity that has even more followers! even when someones art isn't very good if the humour is there and the story lines are good then people will like it, which is what i want, a good storyline to go with a cool character that people will like... i don't know why that's such a bad thing with the public.

Actually, I was gonna propose a trade, but I wasn't really sure I should bother you. But it sounds like that's exactly what you need, a weird request and some advertisment on my account (not that I have all that many followers) and my fimfiction account (cus my request in question is for a cover art for a fanfiction, and I post my pony art in my blog over there as well.)
