Thank you for saying so! I spent way too long making graphics for Doom add-ons and Megaman sprite comics during the previous decade. It is good to know the experience is good for at least one thing!

Wonderfully detailed, even as pixels. It's a shame you're going on a melting hiatus after this one, you're good at it.

I like making pixel things, but I have difficulty restraining the detail on this sort of thing! I fear I could not well deliver more before my break period expires.

The pixel color consistency from frame to frame is knocking my socks off. Not to mention the quality of animation! I especially love how his hard outline disappears during the liquidation process. Very nice touch.

This is obviously a very late reply but I particularly appreciate your appreciation! You certainly know what you are doing with pixels and colors and I wish I could grasp more of that than I do. The lines disappearing here was an inadvertent effect, a natural consequence of how I do things, merely left uncorrected. In something like this, a new frame is built off the previous, and a big mound of color is easier to alter the shape of without bothering with the lines.

Heh, I keep thinking that his puddle is perfectly shaped for someone to step in as they walk by. Though his glasses are there so perhaps people will notice them and walk around him instead.

I think this is the first time I've ever had to use a program to study a sprite animation frame by frame because it was too fluid to parse by eye. And then I kept watching it for 5 minutes anyway; I figure the formula for the average time a person spends staring at artwork is 1 second per every hour of effort invested, so this either took months or you really cashed in on me. This is probably your Big Talent unless you know how to play a theremin adequately or something else you never talk about
