I have on occassion, but I don't do many graphite images anymore, because my hands shake a lot more than they use to, and thus I can no longer suspend them above the paper (and to lay them on the paper, even with something between my hand and the drawing, tends to smudge the artwork). But I use white pencils and white gel pens in my colored pencil and marker work all the time. :)
