On Christmas Day central Arkansas was hit by a terrible winter storm, one of the worst in decades. My area was lucky in that we lost power for only a day.
This image was taken the day after that storm during the golden hour. The contours of the snow were really well defined at the time, so I snapped a picture of it.
The ground shadows were a lot more blue than what this image shows. Really quite striking!
