This page, unlike my other upload tonight, feels much more in character for Regina. Possibly because she tricked a more powerful magical being into using its power and influence to fit her desires. Just a point odf curiosity: by absorbing his powers, that would then make her a genie by default, which would then also seal her in the bottle as well - I don't recall her ever wishing him free first, so she's essentially doomed to his former "life" correct!

Perhaps... but she didn't wish to have the genie's exact powers, just to absorb them. Perhaps the act of changing them is enough to avoid any curses.

I don't think this would count for bottling, for the record :P

But it came out perfect. The timing of the panels is great; lots of anticipation then "oops, screwed". And the color added a lot to the effect!

...she'd probably shit out Velu's bottle at the end, come to think of it. Owie.
