Since the artist I am waiting on to get a ref sheet done is in a bit of a bad place right now, I decided I would give a try at representing my original species, the avaran.

This is a male at around age 35 (around age 30 in human years). He's also of about average stature, due to his lower-than-average frill length and horn size for a male of his age. He has wings, but I decided it best not to try and fit them in so as not to make it more crowded. Currently unnamed.

Still trying out some new pixel art techniques, and I think this turned out okay I suppose. Did it pretty quickly, and it could use some serious improvements.. Larger pic is scaled 500%.

Also; he doesn't have chicken-pox. His fur is dappled, and that's about the best I could do.
