Painted a random gryphon to get myself used to pen-mode (see recent journals). It's not too hard to get used to, but I'm very tense because I'm just now learning to use the tablet this way, so my shoulder and hand hurt like hell even after a short portrait! Trying my best to consciously relax while drawing, but I'll probably also get more relaxed as I get more used to this drawing method. Also navigating with my tablet helps acclimate my muscles as well.
Pain in the butt, but for the better in the long run I hope! *crosses fingers* I'm so sorry for the delay for my customers, I'll get back to commissions as soon as I can.

I hope the pain will stop soon. I remember my first days with a new tablet - I couldn't write in school after drawing for a few hours, hahah.
Also, when your pain stops and you get used to the pen-mode, I can't wait to see some livestream time. ^_^

So all this time when I've been watching you producing excellent work after excellent work, you had been working in mouse mode?
My mind boggles!
