ObscureStar's requirement for taking photos of me were that she got to snap some of me doing something silly. Or apparently sillier than making weird faces in front of a Chilhuly installation. "Something silly" turned out to be "kissing the driftwood horse on the nose," and it turns out I like the photo. I think it's kinda sweet.

We saw that, and it was okay - but I really really liked some of the regular exhibits a lot more. Like all the Three Kingdoms period Chinese stuff - you don't get to see that often - or some of the modern sculpture, and the really big display of 18th century silverware, that's really neat and unusual. Plus I got to see a real NC Wyeth painting up close and personal! It was so freaking cool!
