I'm not sure Paul is making me comfortable, telling Gem what she needs, but on the other paw -- he may have learned enough about her by now to know that it really is what she needs, and that she knows it too. So it might be ok.

I wish I could be as brave as Gem... I haven't gotten the courage to even say hi to people whom I meet in person, and my coworkers have even tried getting me to say anything to them. I can write stuff, but when it comes to saying something, I avoid it at all possibility. The last time I talked to someone, which was brief, was 2 weeks ago when I ran out of Peek-ABUs, and the delivery guy told me to stay safe, and I said you too. It is really sad, because I haven't talked with family in over 2 years, and my neighbors hardly know me.
