During World War I, Norway was a neutral country. In reality, however, the Norwegian merchant marine was largely used in support of the British, resulting in Norway being classified as The Neutral Ally. About half of Norwegian merchant shipping being lost. Because the Allied powers could almost totally control Norway’s foreign trade, they forced it to break off exports of fish to Germany Empire and, at the same time, forbade exports of iron pyrites and copper, which were important commodities for the German war industry.
Starting in the spring of 1939, the British Admiralty began to view Scandinavia as a potential theatre of war in a future conflict with Third Reich. The British government was reluctant to engage in another land conflict on the continent that they believed would be a repeat of the First World War. So they began considering a blockade strategy in an attempt to weaken Third Reich indirectly.
Third Reich industry was heavily dependent on the import of iron ore from the northern Swedish mining district, and much of this ore was shipped through the northern Norwegian port of Narvik during the winter months. Control of the Norwegian coast would also serve to tighten a blockade against Third Reich.
Led by the newcomer commander, Takras. Find herself in middle coming up conflict with Third Reich.

An artic fox lady for Norway, that is a very good idea.
Mission log: It seems that me and commander Takras had to find shelter, in order to survive the cold we would need to huddle together. Instead we had sex instead as it would seem to be a night to never forget.
*The boys back home won't ever believe I had sex with Takras in the cave while there was a blizzard*

Sort-of! The Republic of Ireland had a policy of neutrality in general but discreetly helped out the allies in some respects (like returning downed Allied airmen but interning Axis ones), a not insignificent number of Irishmen volunteered to fight in the British armed forces (for which they were treated extremely poorly by their own government when the conflict ended) and Northern Ireland was of course part of the United Kingdom (I'm from Northern Ireland myself). I think a fair way to describe a lot of Irish peoples attitude wasn't so much that they were pro-German but were anti-English ("Englands difficulty is Irelands opportunity" as the saying goes). But Irelands relationship with England has always been a love/hate kind of thing, like siblings who don't get along but have a grudging respect for each other.
But its a controversial subject to put it mildly and some people might disagree with my short assessment above. I was only kidding as I don't think Ireland had a big enough role to merit inclusion in your story but it would be fun to see what character you came up to represent it (well *her* as Ireland has always been considered female in historic depictions)
Of course I had to favourite this picture just on general principles *points at avatar* ;)
Looking forward to the next installments of your story!

Aye, but they were all caught quickly due to good intelligence and a lack of competence on their part! Reading between the lines I imagine a not-insignificent amount of that intelligence came from the British security services. There was a certain measure of trying to link up with the IRA but I don't think much came of it, mostly due to a lack of enthusiasm on the German side.
I like military history but I'm not much of a WW2 buff (the Cold War is much more my thing) although I did finish "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" by William Shirer a couple of months ago, good and interesting book but as it was written in the 1960's the author had some *cough*unfortunate*cough* views of certain issues that are a bit eye-brow raising looking back from the enlightened 21st century.

Well I wonder how Takras would fit in my story despite it being placed in 1941 and Norway a Puppet of Germany....hmmm....maybe Takras would be put in charge of Reichkommissariat Norwegen if she told by Linda via Lena to take control of the country. Thinking the same go for Reichkommissariat Belgium, vichy france, Denmark and Netherlands X3
Originally I was planning a trap, set by the Allies to trap Lena & Shepard in Norway.
Germany: "Oh boy! Norway invite us to her's birthday party!" :D
*Grap Denmark with them as they go, only to be tricked by the Allies*
Britain: "The cake was a lie." >:)
Germany: >8C
*Germany beat Allies and take over Norway*
But of course suggestions are welcome. x'3

Aliens take over Africa and Linda forces Lena to get Takras as the leader of German Norway, Mila of German Belgium and the sisters of Vichy France*
[b]Linda: "Lena if you don't give these ladies back leadership...you better show that you're listening to me and offering them their commands back to their country. Cause these aliens could take advantage of your European chaos..."

Lena: "Don't worry my dear Linda, I got this~"
*Lena pull a Yu-Gi-Oh card*
Lena: "I summon the mighty King Tiger on the battlefield!"
Poof
King Tiger: “We will cleanse the Fatherland!” >=)
