This the Commanding Officer for the First Regiment of the Darlian Honor Guard. i know that i don't have to name them but i thought naming the field officers might be fun. any way, i painted him myself and i think im getting better at this.
Dostel is actually a character from a story i was working on back in high school. i decided to bring him back as the commander of the First Regiment. he was a bad ass in the story so he deserves the spot.

Ok then. I'd suggest a medium brown on the shaft of his batton, with a brownish shade wash, like Reikland Fleshshade. The bright clours look good, you'll just hit the perpetual problem of white fabric, and that is sadly that it looks too, painted. If you can get a dark blue shade, like Drakenhof Nightshade, that can be used HEAVILY WATERED DOWN FIRST, on the deeper creases in the fabric of his trousers.
I personally would have gone for a creamier colour for the fabric, it's easier to make it look good, and can be done in two steps, but that's me, and I'm bias (dark angels army player.)
On the blue of his field coat, use a neater vertion of the Dakenhof in the creases.
I can't wait to see more from these guys BTW.
