Made for my boyfriends parents for Christmas. His mom collects loons, so I thought it'd be appropriate. Evidently it went over very well. Still super proud of this, along with the Gannet I made my dad last year, one of the biggest birds I've made. Loons are really beautiful creatures, and so much bigger than you'd think. Evolution has given them such a unique looking body.
