based on a very bizarre dream i had several weeks ago.
i forced myself up, i was in very deep REM state.
It was not easy to force myself up.
I recently finished reading house of leaves it was spectacular.....
this is a VERY experimental piece that is sort of in the same style as house of leaves. It is probably one of the strangest things i have ever written. I had a blast writing it.
the flea market and shopping center exists...that's it in the thumbnail. I took the liberty of changing the market's name and editing it out of the picture
thank goodness for GIMP

oh and a final not the girl in question is a product of my subconscious she is not based on anyone in particular

Wonderful story; I absolutely loved it. Turning dreams into stories is hard work; the surreal and non-linear nature of dreams can make it difficult to render them as meaningful stories. The way you managed to capture the dream's essence, along with how you used unusual typographic features to highlight the surreality of the dream was very well done. *Applauds very loudly* Keep up the good work!

took me forever to come up with a usable name for the girl...
I had wanted her name to be a permutation[anagram] of "I have been very naive"
but i couldn't come up with a decent name.
I like what I came up with instead
also this dream happened weeks before i read "house of leaves"
i got the feeling that all of the shops were inexplicably interlocked "ad. infinitum"
i could have run in there forever and never found an end.
also lmao i found a poorly acted out attempt to recreate "The Navidson Record" on you tube...the acting was good in the first part...but the other three SUCKED...lol not even REMOTELY close
